Outdoor paintball at Skirmish Sunshine Coast

Skirmish Sunshine Coast

Adrenaline pumping fun at Skirmish outdoor paintball. A bold booking-focused site for a high-energy brand.

The
Challenge.

Skirmish has run outdoor paintball on the Sunshine Coast for over thirty years, next door to Aussie World. The product is strong: five games, all the gear, a host who runs the day. The old site did not sell it. Bookings came by phone, prices were hard to find, and a bucks organiser on their phone at eleven at night had no way to lock a date in.

Every group is different. A hens party, a work outing, a fifteenth birthday, a solo walk-in. They want the same reassurance in different words, and every one of them wants the price before anything else.

Bookings by phone only.

No way to hold a date outside opening hours, which is when most groups get organised.

Prices buried.

The first question every organiser asks, answered last.

Six kinds of group, one pitch.

Bucks, hens, birthdays, corporate, Christmas parties and walk-ins all read the same page.

Our
Approach.

We built the site around the booking. Price, inclusions and a Book Now button on the first screen, repeated wherever a decision gets made. Each group type gets its own route in, so a hens organiser and a sports coach each land on a page that sounds like it was written for them.

The design is bold and high-energy because the brand is. Big type, real photos from the field, Google reviews pulled through, and the Friday deal given the prominence an offer deserves.

Built on WordPress so the team can change prices, offers and session times themselves without ringing us.

Booking first.

Price, inclusions and Book Now on the first screen and at every decision point after it.

A route for every group.

Bucks, hens, birthdays, corporate, Christmas and walk-ins each get their own page.

Loud where it should be.

Big type and real photos. The site matches the energy of the day.

Editable by the team.

Prices and offers change in the CMS, not through a developer.

The
Results.

Online bookings rose 240% in the first season, with the phone still ringing for the groups who prefer to talk it through.

The site now carries the admin the counter used to: prices answered, dates held, group questions covered before anyone picks up the phone.

240% more online bookings.

In the first season after launch.

Prices answered up front.

The first question every organiser has is answered before they scroll.

Less time on the phone.

Bookings and group questions handled by the site, so the team can run the day.
