Challenge.

Tanks On Site supply fuel storage across Australia - self bunded tanks, modular service stations, fuel trailers, AdBlue systems, dispensing equipment. Fifteen years of engineering, and a product range that had quietly become very hard to navigate.

The difficulty is that nobody arrives searching for a product code. A mine site manager wants fuel that survives the Pilbara. A civil contractor wants something they can move between jobs next week. A transport depot wants NMI-certified dispensing they will not get audited over. Same catalogue, three completely different conversations, and a site organised around the catalogue rather than around them.

A deep catalogue, flat structure.

Tanks, pumps, trailers, dispensers and custom builds all sitting at the same level, with no route through for someone who knows their problem but not the product.

Six industries, one page.

Mining, construction, transport, agriculture, aviation and fuel retail each buy for different reasons, and the old site spoke to all of them at once, which is to say none of them.

Compliance is the sale.

Bunding, NMI certification and environmental regulation are what make or break a purchase, and they were buried in specification rather than led with.

Our
Approach.

We restructured the site around industries first and products second. Someone in mining lands on mining, sees the tanks and containerised sites built for remote continuous use, and reaches the product from there. The catalogue still exists in full, it just is not the front door any more.

Equipment and compliance got its own branch, because for a commercial buyer that is not a detail, it is the qualifying question. NMI-certified equipment, spill containment, custom engineering - each given a page that can answer an auditor as well as a purchaser.

The copy was rewritten to lead with conditions rather than specifications. Australian sites are hot, remote and hard on equipment, and that is the thing every one of these buyers is actually worried about.

Tanks On Site has no Search Console property we can draw on, so there are no traffic figures here. What we can say is that a catalogue of this depth is now navigable by the people buying from it, which the previous structure made genuinely difficult.
